Six Degrees Executive has partnered with E.E Muir & Sons as they embark on a game changing ERP (Pronto) Digital Transformation.

This family run agricultural product and service provider has been successfully supporting Australian growers and farmers since 1927 and intend to continue long into the future.


This is a rare opportunity to not only manage the successful end to end implementation of the ERP - Pronto software but to also ensure incorporation of subsidiary organisation's software in alignment to the Company modernisation program.

Beyond this, there is potential for a more holistic IT Management role within the organisation.


The opportunity:


As the ERP (Pronto) System Implementation Manager, you will be a leading force that brings together multiple (internal and external) stakeholders, you will support delivery, Change and BAU of this ERP.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Lead the Business Transformation from removal of Legacy solutions (Dynamics365) to implementation of Pronto XI software
  • Build strong internal relationships and really be a conduit between the Business and Technology
  • Manage initial requirements gathering stage through to development of implementation design and delivery and manage Change Management initiatives such as Train the Trainer
  • Be the main point of contact and SME with all Pronto related matters
  • Manage and collaborate with software vendors and external SDEs to ensure a smooth and successful delivery
  • Set and ensure successful execution of software delivery timelines, risks and issues
  • Leverage middleware software (Domo) to ensure seamless system integration
  • Manage business process redesign and omnichannel related integration
  • Extract product related data and ensure successful integration with Pronto software
  • Present to the Steering Committee and senior stakeholders


Note that this is a permanent full-time role and will require you to be onsite at Laverton for the first 6 months in order to truly integrate with the team and truly influence.

There is some level of flexibility with this requirement and is more a common-sense approach as this is a Manager position.

After this period, you will enjoy the benefit of flexible Ways of Working and work onsite 3 days a week, 2 days remotely.


About you:

To be considered for this position, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Successful end to end delivery of Pronto ERP software with a minimum of
  • 3 ERP implementations
  • Have a working knowledge of intercompany processes and software integration
  • Excellent communications skills, highly collaborative and possess strong training capabilities
  • A positive, 'cando' attitude with a sense of urgency with regard to a project timelines
  • Can liaise with stakeholders of all levels and can present to senior stakeholders
  • Change Management experience with an ability to take others on the journey
  • Business process redesign and Omnichannel/Digital business experience
  • Intercompany experience (especially removal of Legacy systems and integration of ERPs)
  • Ability to deal with large quantities of data and stock items
  • Related IT qualifications
