As the organisations continues to further their focus on employee wellbeing, they are now searching for a seasoned professional to join their team as the Principal Advisor, Health and Wellbeing.


The role:


Reporting to the Safety and Wellbeing Manager, the Principal Advisor Health & Wellbeing is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of the SCHHS Psychosocial & Wellbeing services across all SCHHS locations.


Day to day you will:
Support leaders in understanding the psychosocial and wellbeing needs of their teams and building capacity for team wellbeing leadership;
Develop and implement psychosocial health and wellbeing programs and initiatives;
Embed psychosocial and wellbeing into the SCHHS 'Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System' through the development and implementation of frameworks, procedures, processes, and guidance to effectively risk manage psychosocial risk;
Engage with contracted external Employee Assistance Program providers and or other psychosocial and wellbeing service providers and monitor those services that are provided; and

Provide leadership, direction, coaching and development to a small multidisciplinary team.

Develop a collaborative work environment to deliver seamless, consistent services to the business with proactive use of internal and external systems, workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives.


About you:


Alongside a strong background in a health and wellbeing role, you will hold a qualification in a related field, such as health promotion, public health, or psychology.


Further to this, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement organisational psychosocial and wellbeing cultural leadership and capability strategies in a large, complex organisational environment;
Proven ability to provide psychosocial and wellbeing advice and consultancy services which deliver contemporary solutions to senior management, line managers and employees based on sound, independent judgement;
Demonstrated ability in the preparation of high-quality written communications, briefs, reports and correspondence for key stakeholders, including the ability to use information management systems, manage data, undertake analysis, identify issues and evaluate and report on activities; and


Proven ability to develop the capability of individuals and teams so that they are responsive to customer needs in a large, complex organisational environment.
