About the role

Join Cabot's as our Business Development Executive (QLD) - Industrial and use your strong relationship building skills and commercial acumen to support the development of our Industrial portfolio.

Role is based out of Brisbane with travel as required across Queensland

With a proven track record in business development, you will have strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.

Being a proactive thinker, you will enjoy staying ahead of the game and be able to problem solve on your feet as and when required.

As a high performing, results driven individual, you will bring an innovative approach to the role and be motivated to realise outcomes that add value to your customers and the business.

Relationships play a big part in this role, so you'll need to have strong influencing skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholder.

With your calm and strategic approach, you'll have an adaptable nature and will be able to delegate and coordinate activity for others.

Strong time management, an 'always on' positive outlook and excellent communication skills are crucial to ensure success.

Responsibilities

Lead a top down growth strategy by developing robust relationships with national clients and internal stakeholders

Execute Intergrain

Industrial business strategies, creating demand and sales to meet sales targets, Primary Profit and KPI's
Work together with the state sales team and the broader Trade & Industrial business to drive collaboration and proactively target the top customers
Run the business as your own in a highly autonomous role

Skills & Experience

Solid capability in a similar role, fostering existing relationships and developing new ones with stakeholders across all levels
Proven experience securing and growing large accounts
Strong motivation to develop new business opportunities, close deals and drive growth of existing accounts
Previous exposure to construction/timber industries is desirable but not essential
High level MS Teams, MS Excel and CRM (C4C, Salesforce) experience
Resilience, adaptability and flexibility
Lateral thinking and problem solving
Excellent communication and presentation skills
