About the role
We are looking for a
Project Coordinator within Rail Network Maintenance to join our Track Inland Team.

The position will be responsible for the safe planning, coordination, monitoring, and analysis of our Inland renewal and maintenance works.


This role is a great opportunity to join a high-performance team and contribute to initiatives which drive improvements in the safe and successful delivery of maintenance execution activities.

This Project Coordinator role is being offered on 5 days on, 2 days off, 4days on, 3 days off roster, FIFO to the inland town of Tom Price.


Reporting to the Superintendent, you will/be:

  • Coordinate with the Asset Replacement and Planning teams to plan and deliver a wide variety of maintenance and renewal tasks across the rail network
  • Conduct QA/QC and quality safety interactions, to ensure all work is executed safely, to the highest quality, and in line with business COP requirements
  • Analyse renewal and maintenance tasks post execution to identify efficiency and safety improvements
  • Communicate with all planning and execution stakeholders as the single source of truth for all maintenance and renewal activities in the Inland network
  • Engage with external stakeholders and contractors in the planning phase to ensure efficient and safe deliver of external and specialised services
  • Ensure that the budget is managed in accordance with the plan and deliver improvements through PDP and other improvement initiatives

About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will preferably have:

  • Experience in Track maintenance or construction
  • execution or planning
  • Experience working with SAP work management and Microsoft Office Suite a strong IS&T capability
  • Exposure to contractor management systems
  • Experience with Gantt development and implementation
  • A commitment to the highest standards of work execution quality
  • A passion for driving improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety first at all times
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to RTIO ethics and integrity and core values

Where you will be working
This role is being offered on a FIFO roster from Perth to Tom Price, operating 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off (9 day fortnight)


Located in the central Pilbara, Tom price is a family-friendly and modern fully-serviced town designed to complement the regions natural environment.

It's known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a supermarket, primary and secondary schools, hospital and high standard of recreation and child care facilities.
