The Opportunity
Insitu Pacfic is currently searching for an experienced Project Planning and Scheduling Specialist.

Resposible for working with Project Managers and Capability Leaders to assist them with project scheduling including planning, resourcing, scheduling creation and ongoing management; and performance reporting for Insitu Pacific's projects.


Responsibilities:


  • Working closely with Project Managers and Leads to develop baseline project schedules, manage updates and progress tracking and assist in overall project planning.
  • Tracking and coordinating the progress of projects to ensure that Project Managers are kept well informed.
  • Providing support to Project Managers in devising strategies to overcome roadblocks or delays through various methods such as using industry related technical knowledge, innovative solutions, improvising with available resources, scheduling overtime to meet the deadline, and the like.
  • Identification of project risks and issues associated with project schedule and costs.
Experience/Qualifications


To be successful in this role:

  • Demonstrated track record of working on Defence Contract (DEFCON) projects in a scheduling capacity.
  • Strong skills with Deltek's Open Plan Professional (OPP), Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
  • Skill and ability to collect, organise, synthesize, and analyse data; summarise findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Demonstrated experience using collaborative working relationships within and outside an organisation to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
  • Australia citizenship to meet Australian Defence security requirements.
