This is an exciting opportunity to lead change in the development of Software Asset Management within Information Services Division (ISD) for the management of the growing Enterprise software that forms part of the IT operating model.

This position will lead ISD and the broader DEECA in the best practice management, investment and performance of our IT procurement and management of software licensing as a whole of DEECA approach.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the delivery of procurement processes within Victorian Government, with a preference of experience in the DEECA procurement practices.
  • Strong understanding of Victorian Government Purchasing Board and DEECA procurement policies and procedures.
  • Solid understanding of Software Asset Management such as license trueup process, software audit process and license distribution through the Service Portal.
  • Solid understanding of Contract Rationalisation through Contract Management.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at Stakeholder and supplier levels.
This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within with hybrid work arrangements available.
