About the role


We are looking for an
Electrical Maintainer to support the Dampier Salt Limited (DSL) Port Hedland Electrical Maintenance Team to provide safe and efficient electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding to our assets across site.

The role is a great opportunity for a safety conscious individual looking for a new challenge.

Reporting to the team Fixed Plant/Electrical Supervisor, you will:

  • Safely execute electrical maintenance across DSL Port Hedland
  • Maintain statutory electrical inspections and records as required by MSIR
  • Complete fault finding and repairs of electrical systems and equipment
  • Complete Inspections to identify faults and raise quality notifications in SAP for repairs
  • Isolate equipment for maintenance requirements
  • Be highly motivated as part of a small team
  • Complete quality handovers with oncoming crews and other maintenance teams including contractors across both ports as required

About you
To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • A manual Australian C Class Driver's Licence
  • A WA A-Class Electrical Licence
  • A passion for safe execution of work
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

It will also be beneficial if you have:

  • HV Switching Certificate ticket
  • PLC Competency
  • Competency with use of SAP
  • High Risk Work Licence
  • WP, and Working at Heights
