The Organisation - Children's Cancer Institute (CCI

)
The Children's Cancer Institute is the

only independent medical research in Australia dedicated to the seamless integration of child cancer research, clinical care and education to ultimately

put an end to childhood cancer.
Every week in Australia, three children and adolescents die of cancer.

Only when that three becomes zero, and when all the survivors can live a normal life, will their work be done.


More than 40 years on, their vision remains unchanged - to save the lives of all children with cancer and improve their long-term health, through research.

The Institute has

recently embarked on a remarkable adventure towards joining with their clinical colleagues at the Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children's Hospital, in a brand-new purpose built home, Australia's first Children's Comprehensive Cancer Centre, which when completed, will house up to 900 child cancer clinicians and scientists.


The Role - Regular Giving Manager
Sitting within the Individual Giving team of 6 people and reporting to the Head of Individual Relationships, the role of Regular Giving Manager will drive the program to

achieve acquisition and retention goals for regular supporters.

The current program has

strong foundation from face to face fundraising acquisition (approximately 80%) and you will

work collaboratively with an external supplier to ensure the ongoing success of this. You will work collegially with the Data & Supporter Insights Manager and the wider Marketing & Fundraising team to

strengthen the RG strategy and CCI's brand.

You will utilise rich content, targeting, segmentation and personalisation techniques to

engage donors and maintain a feeling of being 'connected' with their mission. The next phase in growth for the program will be to focus on

digital marketing acquisition strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the Regular Giving program from end to end
  • Ensure acquisition of engaged supporters, timely and effective onboarding, managing retention & growth
  • Manage relationships, reporting and KPIs for F2F Acquisition with a 3rd party supplier
  • Oversee the successful debiting and declines management for the program with the support care team
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to budget
  • Support the digital integration strategy across all areas of the IG program with marketing (content, video, social media, website/online donations)
  • In conjunction with the Head of GM Data & Supporter Insights, ensure that the Salesforce database is well managed
  • Provide effective and insightful reporting on the RG program
  • Ensure Compliance with Marketing & Fundraising legislation including data privacy, financial management and fundraising code of conduct (FIA).

Your Skills & Attributes

  • Demonstrated success in a mass fundraising role campaigns / appeals / RG or IG.
  • Expertise in Facetoface donor journey and onboarding.
  • Experience in digital marketing acquisition methods.
  • Willingness to be hand on implementing RG strategy.
  • Resilience persist despite challenges, obstacles, and interruptions.
  • Empathy understand and consider other's feelings, thoughts, and experiences.
  • Confidence managing internal and external stakeholders and problem solve to successfully achieve targets
