Reporting to the Regional Manager, your role of Operations Manager will see you play a vital role, driving operational performance within our dynamic Tauranga team.

Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities among both current and potential clients, to constructing a robust sales pipeline.

You will also develop growth initiatives and execute alignment with the company growth plan, spanning project management and sports fields, all the while ensuring day to day operations deliver best operational and customer outcomes.

What We're Seeking

To be successful in this role, you will be a confident leader, who has prior experience in a similar industry and has proven experience in leading a team to success.

You will be approachable, can thrive in sometimes unexpected situations and able to make the "right call" when needed to give the team certainty and confidence in their work.

You will also have:

Solid financial skills that include developing targets, maintaining budgets, and analysing operational initiatives with the proven ability to manage a project and deliver within time and budget constraints
Strong written, computer and report writing skills. You will also be an effective communicator with the ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally
Exceptional people management skills with experience in recruitment, performance management, engagement and training and development
A positive attitude towards working safely and a desire to uphold our company health and safety culture
A qualification in Sports Turf Management will be advantageous
Your full, New Zealand drivers' licence
