About the role


We are seeking a values-driven Admin Assistant who will be responsible for supporting the Ministry Worker and Corps Officer in the delivery of Administration for the mission of The Salvation Army, in an integrated setting.

You will successfully

  • Support the Corps Officer with ministry programs activities to meet mission intentions, Corps goals and engage participants.
  • General support with calendar, receipting and operational support for Corps Officer
  • General administration support for Corps Officer
  • Volunteers are recruited, recorded, trained and effectively engaged in line with TSA policy and procedure
  • Organise administration and clerical activities relating to the production and distribution of Corps Newsletter, meetings and other activities, promoting mission activities and programs
  • Special Events assist Corps Officer/s in planning and coordination of events e.g. Red Shield Appeal, Christmas Party, community events.
  • Support the upkeep and maintenance of the Corps website and social media platforms, ensuring ministry activities, programs and Corps Mission are regularly promoted
This is a full-time, permanent role located in Noosa, QLD. With flexible hours Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Clerks Level 3 award.

You will have

  • An ability to coordinate a variety of administration demands in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Certificate in Business Administration is desirable
  • A current and valid Qld Blue Card is required prior to commencement
  • A national police record check is required prior to commencement
  • A current Qld Drivers licence or working towards attaining one within 12 months of commencement of role.
