The Position


We are seeking a highly motivated full time (38hours per week) Paralegal Officer (Insurance) to fill a position located at the Group Services Office in Kings Square - Perth, with the ability to work 40% from home.


This position will provide high quality assistance with the renewal and administration of the organisation's insurance program and administration of claims arising under the insurance program, particularly those arising from or related to medical malpractice, property damage and public liability.


Furthermore, this position will also provide paralegal services in a range of areas to support the Legal team and work in in accordance with the Philosophy, Mission, Vision and Values of St John of God Health Care.

  • Welldeveloped understanding of legal procedures and terminology with an ability to communication effectively on these issues.
  • Experience working as either legal secretary or as a paralegal.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
  • Welldeveloped networking and relationship building skills, both internal and external.
  • Welldeveloped communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.

    :$96,036 to $106,666, plus 11% superannuation:
