About the role
This role involves timely processing of all AAT Kings invoices. Focus on creditor management and investigation into dispute invoices. Required to liaise with Finance and non-finance staff to ensure efficient outcomes.

The successful applicant will show a proven track record of outstanding creditor management experience, excellent interpersonal communication and telephone skills are essential.


Role Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

  • Process invoices with 100% accuracy.
  • Liaise with suppliers to address any invoicing issues.
  • Process prepayments & accrual reversals of prepayments.
  • Creditor's statement of accounts reconciliation.
  • Assist with filing of invoices.
  • Identify issue in Tropics and TMS system issue, log the case for the relevant issue, and follow up with TMS/ Tropics team.
  • Coordinate all payment run types in oracle working with manager to ensure cash requirements sufficient to process payment run.
  • Assist with supplier maintenance in Oracle highlighting any areas of concern to the manager.
  • Report any issues with system accruals and liaise directly with contract load team and operations to ensure the reservation systems reflect contracted supplier costs.
  • May be required to undertake other areas of work if business demands require this.

Administrative:

  • File all invoices, statements & documents for all AP related activities.
  • Assist auditors with documentations requirement and queries during audits;
  • Report and liaise directly with Supervisor, assist with ad hoc duties.

About you

  • Computer literate with Intermediate experience and understanding of Excel such as V Look Ups & Pivot Tables
  • 23 years in an Accounts Payable role essential
  • Experience in Oracle, or a similar ERP system essential
  • Studying or completion of studies in accounting essential
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to build strong relationships and interact with debtors and internal customers, sort out short paid invoice in a timely manner
  • Ability to allocate and adjust invoice with high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to details, excellent time management skills
  • Intermediate skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Professional approach and strong work ethic
  • Positive attitude with strongly initiative and proactive approach required
  • Ability to work both autonomously and effectively as part of the team
