Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated
Cadet Electrical Designer to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Brisbane.


  • Understanding the Client requirements and the project mission
  • Setup and configuration of project design tools
  • Performing detailed design and drafting of electrical, instrumentation and control systems in accordance with project technical specifications and enterprise or project procedures
  • Developing engineering design details and special items drawings
  • Using vendor data including drawings, models and datasheets to develop the design
  • Implementing design changes in accordance with Project systematic and approved Change Management

You will bring to the role:

You have or are working towards a Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (E&I preferred) with previous experience in the use of CAD software packages an advantage.

You will bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with good safety awareness.
