The Organisation
Founded in 1973 by a group of local residents to create a forum for community and development on social issues, Community First Step (CFS) is now operating in its 50th year.
Having now expanded, CFS encompasses Children, Youth and Family Services, Community Development and Disability Services., CFS now has over 100 staff and volunteers supporting the Southwest Sydney community.
The Opportunity
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be instrumental in driving CFS's growth strategy forward.
Reporting directly to a passionate and purpose-driven CEO and working collaboratively across cross-functional teams, Your primary responsibility is to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, deliver communications, and generate compelling content to increase awareness of CFS services.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives in alignment with CFS's objectives.
- Campaign Coordination: Lead the creation and execution of impactful marketing campaigns and content.
- Digital Content Management: Oversee and deliver digital marketing and content.
- Public Relations and
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain relationships with key cross-functional and community stakeholders.
About You
For this appointment, we are seeking an experienced marketing individual with a strong generalist background who has a passion for contributing to life-changing work.
- Marketing and Communication Experience including strategy implementation, campaign execution and content creation. Experience in maintaining and strengthening the organisation's brand across various media channels in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Education: A relevant bachelor's degree
- Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills for metricsdriven marketing, data analysis, and reporting.
- Project Management: Effective project management abilities to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
- Community Engagement: Demonstrated ability to coordinate marketing ventures, liaise with stakeholders, and organise awareness events.
- Event Coordination: Experience in coordinating community events
