One of Australia's largest building construction company are looking for design co-ordinators to join their awesome team They specialise in multi-sectors with education projects (secondary schools) in the pipeline.

The suitable individual will assist the Design Manager in the coordinated and successful management of packages to achieve project targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and understand the documents and plans that govern the project delivery. Coordinate with the Design Manager and Site Manager in ensuring all project undertakings are in line with the project plans. Contribute information and knowledge into the compilation of project documents. Assist in the management of subcontractor delivery and performance. Coordinate and communicate with the extended project team to achieve project goals. Assist in reviewing consultant and subcontractor quotations against the scope. Foster positive relationships with client, subcontractors, consultants and other 3rd parties. Contribute to tenders as required
Skills & Experience

  • Architectural or Engineering relevant qualifications 5+ years professional experience in construction or as a design coordinator Multisector experience, education sector a bonus Autocad skills ideally Experience reviewing and marking up drawings Excellent communication, and time management skills Genuine passion for building services Eye for detail and a high level of accuracy Enthusiastic approach with the ability to work independently
