About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager, Power Generation, this role will lead a dynamic portfolio aimed at maximizing performance in compliance, risk management, safety, asset planning, process enhancement, operations, maintenance systems, and procurement to drive strategic value within our Power Generation sector.

_ In this role, you'll b__e_**:
- Ensure the implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and legislative requirements, contributing to a culture of zero harm.
- Establish procedures for identifying and addressing threats to the attainment of business objectives.
- Support the Power Generation Leadership Team in adequately addressing the interests and expectations of all stakeholders.
- Participate in procurement strategies aimed at minimizing costs within budget constraints while upholding generation and supply commitments.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to establish longterm asset plans and milestones.
- Develop alignment between team capability and BU objectives.
_Ideally, you'll bring to the role: _
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, insurance or business administration.
- Extensive seniorlevel expertise in risk management, compliance, and corporate governance.
- Significant professional background in heavy industry with a focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management.
- Proficiency in evaluating new operations and initiatives, providing guidance on required compliance measures, and identifying residual risks.
- Specialist knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities and trends.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, coupled with people and project management skills.
This position requires a keen emphasis on innovation and process refinement to discover and execute novel approaches throughout the organization while advocating for operational superiority.
