This permanent, full-time opportunity will see you based from our Artarmon office and working across a large
customer base of clients including Residential Aged Care, Hospitals, Commercial, Retail, Education, and
Government facilities across the Sydney Metropolitan area. This position would be ideally suited to someone
with a fitter/plumbing background who wants to upskill into the fire industry.
The key aspects of your role will be:
- Installation, Repair and Maintenance of fire protection pump equipment (diesel & electric) to the
- Perform flow testing and troubleshooting of fire hydrant and sprinkler systems;
- Undertake pump component restoration works;
- Carrying out repairs and minor works of wet fire suppression systems;
- Liaising with Form1 Project Managers and Service Coordinators to ensure work is completed in a
- Trade qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter or Plumber;
- Fire service experience or previous experience working in a similar role;
- SafeWork NSW general construction card and a strong focus on safety;
- NSW Fair Trading Plumbing Licence will be highly regarded;
- The ability to communicate well with other Form1 team members, and with our customers;
- A proactive and conscientious attitude, willingness to be part of our team, and a strong focus on
- Reliability, and a commitment to high work standards;
- Physically fit to complete duties of the role and ability to complete a preemployment medical;
- Drivers Licence and ability to be able to obtain a WWCC & Police Check.
