Overview

The Revenue Business Systems Consultant is responsible for delivery of improvements to and maintenance of hospital billing systems and disbursement business processes and systems, including close liaison with hospital administrative staff, ICT personnel, clinicians, system vendors and consultants, Medicare Australia and other relevant external parties.

The role includes the provision of expert project implementation of revenue business processes and systems including billing and claiming, doctor disbursement and reporting.

Compliance with data integrity and interface requirements, and the ongoing development of quality systems and procedures will be a feature of the position.

The position is also responsible for performing compliance reviews, maintenance and development of compliant business processes, systems and procedures at SA Health hospitals as well as technical advice, training and assistance with management of revenue systems across the Health Portfolio.
