As the Market Category Manager for the APAC region, you will lead the strategic spend across 10 countries across all category for indirects including Real Estate, Facilities Management and HR Services.

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement APAC with a small team of Category Managers, the role sits on the boarder Procurement Leadership Team for the region.

What does this role look like for you?

  • Develop and implement the longterm strategy for the categories within indirects in alignment with the appropriate internal customers;
  • Drive BAU category management aspects such as sourcing, contract management, risk management, and supplier performance and collaboration management at a strategic spend level;
  • Grow and lead supplier relationship management activities with strategic suppliers;
  • Collaborate with key in market partners and leads to understand market demand, objectives, priorities, challenges and opportunities; and
  • Deliver financial and nonfinancial ambitions which include risk and governance and our Society 2030 ambitions.
What will you bring to the table?

  • Well developed procurement background, with specific expertise within the Indirect Categories, with Real Estate and Facilities Management category experience highly regarded;
  • The ability to work within the complexity of a global role, with multiple collaborators across the region and more broadly a well developed ability to lead with influence and engagement;
  • Strong analytical and financial skill and the ability to convert key financial information and data into compelling stories for business partners to gain buy in and support; and
  • A well established approach to being a positive change agent, able to work in an agile and proactive way.
