We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced
Payroll & Commissions Officer to join our team in Brisbane CBD.

As one of the largest developers in South-East Queensland, QM Properties prides itself on delivering exceptional quality within each community it develops.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the role will focus ensuring a high-quality payroll service is delivered to the business.

Task & Responsibilities:

Process all aspects of the endtoend payroll function, including wages, reconciliation PAYG, union fees, payroll tax, WorkCover, child support, long service leave, terminations and superannuation
Calculation of sales commissions
Maintaining and updating our HR3 HRIS system
The ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
Work actively in the team to enhance team performance
Maintain strong key relationships with a customer service focus
Identifying problems and improvements in processes and procedures
Recording and taking action to problem solve and make improvements, and informing others as required
In conjunction with the Payroll Manager, develop and implement processes and procedures/ improvements in relation to employee payroll queries or the employee experience.
Actively monitor and report on changes in legislation to comply with federal, state, legal requirements including; ATO Legislation, Fair Work Act, Payroll Tax by state and relevant industry awards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum 3+ years in similar role with endtoend payroll knowledge,
Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
Excellent technical skills with a comprehensive understanding of Employment Awards and relevant changes, Payroll and HR systems, PAYG and Payroll Tax obligations,
Real Estate industry experience is desirable, and
Strong influence / business partnering skills.

$75, $85,000.00 per year
