We have an exceptional opportunity for an experiencedPayroll & Commissions Officer to join our team in Brisbane CBD.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the role will focus ensuring a high-quality payroll service is delivered to the business.Task & Responsibilities:
- Process all aspects of the endtoend payroll function, including wages, reconciliation PAYG, union fees, payroll tax, WorkCover, child support, long service leave, terminations and superannuation
- Calculation of sales commissions
- Maintaining and updating our HR3 HRIS system
- The ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment
- Work actively in the team to enhance team performance
- Maintain strong key relationships with a customer service focus
- Identifying problems and improvements in processes and procedures
- Recording and taking action to problem solve and make improvements, and informing others as required
- In conjunction with the Payroll Manager, develop and implement processes and procedures/ improvements in relation to employee payroll queries or the employee experience.
- Actively monitor and report on changes in legislation to comply with federal, state, legal requirements including; ATO Legislation, Fair Work Act, Payroll Tax by state and relevant industry awards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years in similar role with endtoend payroll knowledge,
- Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
- Excellent technical skills with a comprehensive understanding of Employment Awards and relevant changes, Payroll and HR systems, PAYG and Payroll Tax obligations,
- Real Estate industry experience is desirable, and
- Strong influence / business partnering skills.
