End-to-end Facilities Management of a Premium Commercial Office Tower- Leadership and management of an experienced Facilities team
- Oversight and delivery of largescale Capital Works and Redevelopment projects
Our client, CBRE is a leading multinational commercial real estate services business that represents corporate occupiers, private landlords and ASX-listed companies through the offering of top-tier real estate advisory, investment management, property management and facilities management solutions.
With capacity in their Sydney-based team, they are currently seeking to appoint a seasoned Facilities/Operations Management professional to join the business and step up as the Precinct Manager of a large and prominent premium commercial office tower based in the CBD which is owned by one of the leading listed property investment groups in the country.
Reporting directly to the NSW State Lead internally, you will also work closely with the client's Management team to ensure the effective delivery of the end-to-end facility and technical services for the asset under your management through the support of your experienced facilities team.
With the asset currently undergoing major capital works, you will also be tasked with the high-level oversight of a large-scale redevelopment project to integrate the project and engineering works from a base-building point of view, therefore, excellent technical skills and experience delivering large-scale redevelopments are essential to succeed in this role.
Some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Work in line with the SLAs acting as the conduit between the client and CBRE
- Deliver operational and technical excellence with the support of your experienced facilities team
- Effective leadership including recruitment, performance management and succession planning
- Development and implementation of onsite engineering strategies while maintaining building operational efficiencies
- Ongoing cost management, budgeting, forecasting, OPEX and CAPEX
- Take ownership of all BMS in line with the owners' policies and procedures and industry legislation
- Contractor management including supervision and performance monitoring
- Financial and operational reporting
- Review tenant plans for proposed fitout and/or works and provide advice to Property Manager
To qualify for this position, you will need to have:
- Tertiary degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, and/or a relevant Trade
- Certification in Engineering or Facilities Management is preferred
- Proven experience in Engineering, Facilities/Operations Management looking after large premium commercial assets
- Proven experience in the successful delivery of largescale redevelopment capital works projects
