Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Performance, Leadership and Capability Consultant to join Human Resources, Administrative Division.


In the position of Performance, Leadership and Capability Consultant, your expertise is in designing and delivering bespoke interventions that build performance, empower leaders, and cultivate engagement.

Responsible for designing, delivering and overseeing organisational development activities, ad hoc projects and capability programs, you will provide expert advice, coaching and facilitation.

Your collaboration with the Performance, Leadership and Capability Senior Consultants, external and internal partners, will help to ensure the delivery of appropriate and effective solutions for clients.

What you need to succeed

  • Education and training equivalent to postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards postgraduate qualifications) in education, organisational psychology, human resources or a related area with extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience as an organisational effectiveness professional with a proven track record in designing, facilitating, coaching and supporting contemporary organisational leadership, capability and culture initiatives for a diversity of clients or sectors.
  • Advanced facilitation skills with an outcomesfocused approach, achieving high levels of participant engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional and ongoing relationships with clients and stakeholders to guide and strengthen the delivery of outcomes for the university.
  • Strong written communication skills for the preparation of various materials including briefing papers, reports, presentations, toolkits and training resources.
