The Strategy, Policy and Reform Group leads the strategic, policy and reform directions of Beyond Blue.


The Policy and Communications Team is responsible for driving Beyond Blue's efforts to reform the mental health and suicide prevention systems in Australia, by shifting the narrative about anxiety, depression and suicidality, influencing public policy, and maintaining Beyond Blue's relationships and core funding with the Commonwealth and every State and Territory Government.


The Government Relations Lead is responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of Beyond Blue's Government Engagement Framework and managing Beyond Blue's core government funding contracts.


The Government Relations Lead will ensure that Beyond Blue is partnering strategically with governments to deliver Beyond Blue's strategy, and to secure continued core government funding.


Tertiary qualified in either public health, public or social policy, political or social sciences the appointee will have experience in managing complex internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Your mental health, suicide prevention and primary care knowledge and expertise will be underpinned by your strong strategic and critical thinking and project management.
