About the Centre/Service
Ave Maria Kindergarten is a vibrant, inclusive kindergarten providing quality 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten programs in Aberfeldie.

Established in 1957, Ave Maria Kindergarten is a not-for-profit sessional kinder run by a Committee of Management made up of parent volunteers.

It is the largest preschool centre in the community and has four x 4-year-old groups and three x 3-year-old groups offering programs to approximately 170 families.

Our curriculum is play-based and emergent, and our focus is on supporting and extending the children's interests and strengths to develop confidence, curiosity and an enthusiasm for learning.

Our teachers and educators are experienced, enthusiastic and committed to our children, programs and the ongoing success of our kindergarten.

As a kindergarten, we are committed to providing a child safe environment.

Ave Maria Kindergarten has an excellent reputation for its early year's programs and was assessed in 2021 as 'Exceeding' the National Quality Standards.

Description

We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced educator who is committed to providing a sense of confidence, joy and wonder to life and learning, to join our team.

The position will be in a 3 year old group with two other educators and 26 children. Session times are Monday 9.15am-3.15pm and Wednesday 8am

3pm, with Staff meetings on Monday 8am9am. The role includes lunch cover on Tuesdays with planning. Extra hours are available relieving within our service.
