Job Description Summary

We are seeking a Project Support Officer to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting our Project Management division across various programs and projects.


This role would be suitable for an aspiring project manager who is looking for their first role within a projects team or someone with several years' experience, looking to gain valuable industry experience and continue developing their skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Project Management team to manage the administrative work required to achieve the program/project's objectives.
  • Design and supply detailed reporting on project and program status in consultation with the Project Manager and project stakeholders.
  • Display strong communication skills through effective relationships and communications with the Project Manager, project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams.
  • Ensure centralized project reporting and tracking systems are kept updated and dashboard reports are regularly circulated for stakeholder review.
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining detailed reporting and process improvement tools utilizing existing project management software.
  • Ability to track project activities, risks and outstanding actions to engage project stakeholders as required.

Key Competencies:

  • Team player equipped with a growth mindset, able to operate in a highly motivated & open feedback environment.
  • Previous experience in an project based administrative or support role in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Experience in visualization and connection of data
  • Strong communicator with good verbal and written ability
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Smartsheet, CRM tools)
  • Experience using 'Smartsheet' would be advantageous. Any other Project management software would also be a bonus
  • Positive, reliable, trustworthy, "hands on" and proactive personality
  • High quality administrative skills and ability to meet regular deadlines
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational/ selforganizational skills
  • Ability to think in a creative manner
  • Regular reporting development and production through a detail orientated approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Selfstarter; able to work alongside various Project Managers within the Project Management Office
  • Academic degree in business administration, financial statistics, analytics or similar preferred
