About The ProActive Psychology Practice:

The ProActive Psychology Practice is a private Psychology Practice located in both Bankstown and Fairfield NSW.

We are a small group practice that provides psychological services for a wide spectrum of disorders, offering individual and group therapy to Children, Adolescents and Adults.


We are currently offering a very exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Assistant to assist us to meet the growing demand for our services.

We are initially offering a casual part time position, with the potential to develop into a part time permanent position.

Essential Criteria:


  • Confident, mature, professional, and friendly manner
  • Hard worker, fast learner and ability to take direction
  • Attention to detail
  • To work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
  • High level of organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Computer literacy (office, excel, word)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • 23 years of administration experience (experience in allied health would be considered highly favourable)
  • Understanding importance of client confidentiality
Passion for working with people who have mental health issues.


General Duties

  • Client filing and administration
  • Booking and confirming appointments and management of psychologists diary
  • Greeting clients with warmth and confidence
  • Liaising with GP's and other service providers
  • Professional reports and letter writing
  • Receive payments, create invoices, and follow up outstanding invoices
  • Outbound marketing correspondence and client database maintenance
  • General office duties, stationary orders, office maintenance (light cleaning duties)

Hours of Work

  • Flexibility and available to cover staff leave for other days
  • Potential for additional hours to increase for right applicant

Remuneration

  • Based on qualifications and experience
  • Above Award rates
