About the role:

The APS 5 Complaints Officer is accountable under limited supervision to undertake moderately complex to complex work.

The position will be required to undertake technical, research, policy and analysis activities and tasks using available information where options are not always evident.

The role will be required to perform procedural, clerical, administrative and operational tasks.

Duties

Manage complaints and incidents including assessing, recording, resolving, referring and follow up when required.
Produce highquality written correspondence for a range of audiences, including formal responses for the Minister.
Coordinate correspondence, briefing and reporting functions for the Complaints Team.
Use effective communication (verbal and written) to provide service recovery with complainants and their representatives.

Key Skills

Ability to work autonomously within a fastpaced environment and prioritise everchanging workloads.
Timely and accurate input of data into computer software.
Working collaboratively and operate as an effective team member.
