About the Company

Our client are a large and diverse organisation with a vast array of services ranging from infrastructure, transport and logistics to facilities and waste management.

Due to team capacity they are currently looking to engage an experienced HR Business Partner to support the broader team on an initial 3 month contract.


About the Role

In this contract role, you will deliver operational HR support to a diverse client group, working closely with stakeholders whilst supporting the overall business strategy.

You will be responsible for providing day-to-day HR support across the business.

You will make an impact by:

  • Coaching, supporting and strengthening the capabilities of people leaders in managing and engaging with their leaders in the workforce
  • Delivering best practice, contemporary and professional HR guidance, care and support
  • Delivering on key functional objectives (IR / ER, OHS) whilst simultaneously supporting strategic programs and outcomes
  • Lead proactive conversations with managers and stakeholders

About You

You are an experienced HR practitioner, with strength in employee and industrial relations, and demonstrated ability to coach and lead client groups.

You are great at building collaborative relationships, an excellent problem solver with good commercial acumen. You will have a can-do attitude, attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach. Resilience and ability to work at pace will be key to your success.


You will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in a People & Culture Business Partner role
  • Generalist HR background and experience gained working in a complex organisation
  • Experience in industrial and employee relations
  • Please note this organisation requires proof of double vaccination
