We are seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses – Scrub Scout to join the Perioperative team on a Full-Time basis. In this fast-paced and varied environment you will bring your experience and take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and a commitment to customer satisfaction. As a Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
- Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team including the Surgical Consultant, Fellows, Registrar, and Allied Health to achieve excellence in patient's clinical outcomes and hospital experience
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the patient
- Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology

- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years experience as an RN in a perioperative setting
- Experience in Neurosurgery, Cardiac and Vascular (Desirable)
- Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards)
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Commitment to quality patient care
- Works independently and within a team
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional computer skills
