About the Role
Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) sits within SA Health as South Australia's most populated health network, servicing nearly 464,000 South Australians with sites including the Royal Adelaide Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and many more.
These may include inpatients, outpatients, and other support services (Integrated Care, SA Dental, Prison Health Service, DonateLife SA, Imaging, Pathology, BreastScreen SA and Pharmacy).
Working within the Industrial Relations team and Workforce Directorate, as Industrial Relations Lead, you will lead the resolution of industrial relations matters through the provision of high level strategic industrial relations advice, advocacy, and support.
The role will:
- Lead the resolution of disputes and other complex industrial relations matters
- Provide advocacy services and appear before State Tribunals including the SA Employment Tribunal
- Lead and/or contribute to IR project work and reviews
- Contribute to the progression of change management by providing strategic IR advice and support
- Develop and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including unions
We are seeking someone who:
- Has demonstrated experience in delivering professional and timely advice on industrial relations matters
- Has excellent influencing and communication skills, both written and orally
- Has a proven ability to build relationships and engage with a range of stakeholders
- Can work under pressure and effectively to deadlines, in a team and independently
- Has a tertiary level qualification in law, human resources management or relevant experience to the role
- Has sound knowledge of industrial relations issues in the government environment
