Overview
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Australian National Membership Driven Association.


This role will consist of delivering best-in-class campaigns and supporting the planning process across all digital & offline channels, delivering results against agreed KPIs.

There will also be the opportunity to support the Media & Communications team with execution and management of owned content on social media.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering major national campaign activity.

This includes sourcing and utilising data to develop insight led campaign strategies and always on approaches, working closely with PR, social, digital, content and government relations experts to integrate across multiple channels, managing paid media activity and ensuring best practice measurement and evaluation.


Responsibilities

  • Work across a wide range of channels.
  • Codevelop and execute campaign strategies leveraging paid, owned and earned media channels, in collaboration with the relevant department heads and channel leads, including delivering measurable and meaningful results against various audience goals.
  • Ensure best practice cross channel integration across all strategies and executions.
  • Develop and deliver best practice campaign and communications data analysis, measurement and optimisation.
  • Contribute to insightsbased reporting to a range of stakeholders across campaigns.
  • Monitor and implement learnings from, and benchmark against, industry best practices.
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring all campaign content is consistent with brand guidelines.
  • Regularly engage with and assist in managing marketing agencies (media, creative and production) to ensure spend and performance optimisation, and alignment with campaign objectives and outcomes.
  • Manage team members working across paid media and creative production.
  • Contribute to improving the integrated ways of working, including strategy and planning processes and systems for ongoing efficiency.

Skills

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent with at least 5 years marketing experience.
  • Experience in integrated marketing strategy development and execution, including ability to develop and deliver successful and measurable campaign strategies.
  • Ability to work with a range of audiences and related goals.
  • Ability to translate complex information in to messaging and content for a range of audiences.
  • In depth understanding of driver and detractors of brand and reputation and ability to align strategic approach accordingly.
  • Ability to identify and use data and insights to identify approach from planning phase through to real time optimisation and end of campaign analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with crossfunctional teams and demonstrated success in engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects across briefing, production, execution, evaluation and budgeting.
  • Experience in agency management (research, media buying and creative).
  • Team management experience with a high level of emotional intelligence and ability to motivate and develop team members.
