Your Role:


  • Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed efficiently for all entities
  • Collecting, calculating and inputting data in order to maintain a most updated payroll information system
  • Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages and reporting on this
  • Attending to employee payroll related enquiries and resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Maintaining payroll operations by following industry and company policies and procedures
  • Consistently taking initiative to learn about the employment law, industry awards and keeping the payroll system compliant with regulations
  • Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
  • Assisting in issuing employment variation letters to reflect in payroll system efficiently

Requirements:


  • Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk, or similar role
  • 2+ Years of Handson experience with XERO and accounting software
  • Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation
  • Timemanagement skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • BSc in Accounting, Human Resources, or relevant field
