A newly created opportunity for an IT Security Manager to join a leading global financial institution based in Sydney's CBD.


About the role


Reporting to the Head of IT, You will be responsible for the planning, implementation and management of security programs to protect from cyber security threats; manage IT security policies, procedures and controls in line with ISO standards; review security governance; reporting; liaise closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the optimal security outcomes.


About you

Skills Required:


  • Degree in IT or IT security certification
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of security standards within IT Operations, Software Development and IT Infrastructure in a complex IT environment.
  • Demonstrated management of security related configuration in relation to VMware Server Farms, Networks, Windows Active
Directory, IAM and IT patch management.

  • Windows Operating System knowledge, VDI and VMWare virtualisation administration
  • Manage all IT security issues/problems in line with the organisation's security principles
  • Responsible for IT vulnerability management and security threat prevention of all information assets, ensure continued patch
  • Security Governance create and update IT security procedures and security compliance in line with industry standards
  • Manage IT security operational documentation and procedures
  • Superior communication skills and stakeholder collaboration
