Are you looking for an opportunity to have an impact?
This is an opportunity for you to use your expertise in the mental injury claims space to help drive strategic initiatives and support our claims teams.
The key focus of this role is to complete initial assessments of mental injury claims to ensure best practice is applied early on in the claim, providing the greatest opportunity for successful return to work for impacted workers.
Additionally, you will support claims teams at all stages of a claim to continue the provision of targeted supports for recovery.
You'll be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders (including WorkSafe, Occupational Rehabilitation and other Third Party Providers).
- Working closely with the business to support consistent delivery of customer experience and sustainable outcomes, whilst proactively seeking opportunities to improve NPS.
- Engaging with Claims teams to identify business improvement needs and implement practices to assist with driving the business vision and strategic direction.
- Drive the injury management program to deliver improved social, health and commercial outcomes for all key stakeholders
- Supporting, refining and reviewing opportunities for continuous improvement of processes that optimise performance
- Coaching claims teams and embrace role as an SME on mental injury management.
Important to your success:
- Provisionally or Fully Registered Psychologist
OR a degree in Allied Health with 4+ years in Worker's compensation or Occupational Rehabilitation - Demonstrated ability in coaching and mentoring
- Experience in delivering training and/or presentations (desirable)
- You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders (internal and external)
- You will have a focus on quantitative and qualitative performance measures
