About the Role:

We are looking for experienced Merchandise Planners to work across our amazing brand Platypus.

You will be responsible for all aspects of Stock Management, OTB, Strategic and Seasonal Planning, Reporting an Analysis and, people management of 1 x Allocation & Replenishment Analyst.


The role & responsibilities:


  • Budget formation, building and maintenance of Merchandise Financial Plans in consultation with the Buying & Planning Management teams
  • Maximising Sales, GP, and stock turn.
  • Management of all reporting, product, and supplier analysis, both weekly and seasonally
  • Maximising return on inventory, closing stock management, markdowns, and aged stock.
  • All OTB requirements, option plans, budgeted inventory levels and forecasts

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven record maximising sales, gross profit and inventory productivity measures
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Experience in leading a team and passionate about growth and development
  • Strength in building collaborative relationships and managing key stakeholder partnerships
