Description

Fantastic opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the Financial Reporting function, aimed at ensuring Metcash's statutory financial reporting obligations are met and that the Group's financial reports are accurate, insightful and delivered in a timely manner.


The Financial Reporting Manager will support the Corporate Finance and FPA team with key transactions and projects, as needed, and contribute as a key leader within the overall Finance function and support each business pillar as a business partner.

What you'll do

Oversee group reporting processes, including weekly, monthly and half yearly results/reports, Appendix 4D/4E, annual report etc. Objectives include speed, accuracy, integrity and effective insightful communication.

Prepare and/or review audit committee reports. Manage external audit processes and the Group's financial reporting related compliance requirements.

Maintain a technical accounting center of excellence

Promote and implement continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

Manage the Financial Reporting team, including establishing goals and targets, setting development plans, managing performance within a safe environment.

What you'll bring

CA Qualified, chartered background.

Strong technical knowledge (AASB) and analytical abilities.

Ideally FMCG or manufacturing industry experience. Experience with an ASX listed company.

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) user capable of writing high quality Board/Committee reports.

Microsoft D365 experience preferred, or ability to efficiently utilise ERP systems.
