Description

This position will require a significant amount of knowledge in the iBase technology, including developing and retiring entities, building worksheets, analysing and reporting on data using iBase, visual analysis of information using Analysis Notebook, and, using corporate software such as Microsoft Excel and Access as needed to aid in the delivery of reporting and/or analytics.

The role will have an operational support focus ensuring business service delivery is fully supported and changing needs are met and responded to in a timely manner


Accountabilities include:


  • Assist with the maintenance, development and enhancement of the CID system
  • Collaborate and engage with stakeholders to identify user training and support needs; then deliver on those needs
  • Ensure quality assurance of the data in the CID is maintained so reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Be a key point of contact between HV&PS and TMR's Information Technology Branch to ensure underlying corporate technologies support iBase system delivery
  • Acquire and maintain a detailed working and operational knowledge of systems, processes and technical requirements
  • Work cooperatively with the Senior Advisor and other Heavy Vehicle Analysis team members to deliver analytical needs using iBase, Analysts Notebook, Microsoft Excel, Access and other technologies as needed and ability to use visualisation tools to present data
  • Monitor the operational systems and contribute to continuous improvement by delivering ongoing development, maintenance and support of the CID in line with emerging user and/or reporting needs
  • Report to management on progress and system performance and assist with the maintenance of the CID using iBase and iBase Designer
  • Maintain operational processes for compliance with functional and technical standards and requirements.
  • Provide first level support to operational compliance staff, Heavy Vehicle Operations management, team, other TMR business units, other state jurisdictions and the NHVR
  • Assist the business unit in implementing change initiatives especially relating to systems and reporting
  • Contribute to and participate in staff training sessions to ensure all existing and new team members are kept informed of system or procedural developments as required
