Werribee based- Band 5 salary of $78,200.20 plus super and fortnightly RDO

A bit about the role
As a Business Administration Officer within our Economic Development Unit, you will assist in the administration, coordination and delivery of economic development programs and initiatives, including business marketing and communications.
Your role is also to support the multifaceted business concierge services for the advancement and completion of Council approvals associated with the establishment and growth of small and medium enterprises.
What you'll do
- Assist in the development, implementation, continuous improvement and dataled reporting of businesstobusiness marketing and communications
- Support business concierge services and customer enquiries with a strong customerfirst approach
- Perform routine administrative duties to support the unit's service efficiency, performance, and records management
- Contribute and work collaboratively with other Council departments on key branding projects
What you'll bring
- Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Communications and Business Administration (Desirable)
- Proven time, project management and goal setting skills with the ability to set priorities, plan and organise work in an environment of conflicting and changing demand
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, teams and situations
- Demonstrated experience in working with and/or in small or medium enterprises
- Demonstrated understanding of the role Council plays in Economic Development
- Experience with the assessment, approval and enforcement of approvals associated with the establishment and ongoing operation of small to medium enterprises
- Demonstrated capacity and/or experience in working with organisational operating processes and systems
- A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
