Dowsing Group is a civil services provider owning a large fleet of specialised equipment across Australia. The Group specialises in providing Slipform Paving, Road Profiling, Hardscape Construction services.

We are seeking a driven - hands on individual to join our workshop function. Located in Maddington, Perth, this is an ongoing full time role.

The primary duties of this role include:

• Deliver the routine and reactive maintenance of our diverse fleet including prime movers, rigid trucks, semi-trailers, skid steer loaders, excavators, road profilers (Wirtgen) and concrete placers (Wirtgen & Gomaco).
• Fabrication of minor enhancements.
• Stock control of fuels and consumables.
• Ensure the workshop is operated in compliance with our workplace health and safety, quality and environment policies.
• Work within a time based budget.
• Maintain maintenance records in accordance with our management system.

In order to be successful in this role, you will possess the following attributes:

• A heavy diesel fitter trade qualification.
• Enjoy a handson approach.
• Demonstrated experience with similar plant and equipment.
• Minimum HR drivers license.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• First Aid.

The following is also highly desirable:

• Varied work experience or working for a civil contractor.
• Forklift operator ticket.
• Experience with auto electrical works.
• Previous fabrication experience.

You will be required to undertake ongoing drug and alcohol screening and be willing to contribute as part of a high performing team.

Remuneration is negotiable and will be assessed based on experience and qualifications.
