WesTrac are looking for a team orientated and detail driven
Leading Hand to join our
Hydraulics Workshop on the Assembly team at South Guildford.

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful individual will play an integral role overseeing the safe and efficient operation of the Workshop to meet component overhaul and rebuild targets for the business.

This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety with the use of JHA's, Take 5's.

Location:
South Guildford

Roster:
Monday to Friday hours), 3 Weeks Days Shift, 1 Week Night Shift

To be successful the following is required:

Australian Recognised Trade Qualification (Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Duty Mechanic or Similar)
Experience in component overhaul and understanding of component rebuild processes
Exceptional organisation skills
Impeccable attention to detail
Forklift and Dogging tickets; or willing to obtain
Solid experience in a leadership role, or ability to demonstrate strong leadership strengths
Advanced communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
Engage, support and mentor team members
Safety focused with previous use of safety and risk assessment tools such as Job Safety Analysis and Take 5's
