    Due to growth, we have an opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join the Civil and Infrastructure team in Brisbane.

    The Opportunity - About the Role

    In this role you will be responsible for supporting Project Managers, Development Managers and the wider commercial team delivering unique and challenging projects. You will drive operational excellence and mitigate commercial contractual risks for Stockland through effective contract and project administration.

    Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Providing initial assistance to project teams on commercial and contractual matters
  • Coordinating the development and administration of contracts in accordance with Stockland's policies and procedures in respect to procurement and supplier engagement processes
  • Ensuring compliance of contract terms and conditions as part of the contract administration process and project handover, to meet Stockland's obligations and achieve the planned outcomes of the contract
  • Establishing and maintaining internal and external stakeholders to maximize the value of implementing contracts for the delivery of projects and other sourcing requirements
  • Sourcing support to Project Managers and Development Managers with tender and contracting process
  • Administering the process for stakeholders in accordance with the contract management and administration guidelines on key contracts
  • Drafting of minor works contracts and consultancy and other services agreements
  • Preparation of contract administration documentation including variations, EOT's, defect notices, general correspondence required under a contract
  • Assisting Project Managers and Development Managers in negotiations relating to contractual and commercial terms including providing support in any dispute resolution processes with external stakeholders
  • Coordination of matters relating to Contract Works Insurance and Contract / Authority Securities
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Project Management systems and processes
  • Facilitating contract and commercial learning and development training for Project Managers and Development Managers
  • Working collaboratively with internal business units and other stakeholders to build professional relationships to promote effective commercial support for the Project Management and Development Management teams
  • About You

  • Minimum 2-3 years' contract procurement administration experience in maintenance or infrastructure industries
  • ERP Systems experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced task focused role
  • Contract or Project administration experience
  • SAP/S4 Hana and/or Ariba and Smartsheet experience (desirable)
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive business cases and acquisition proposals (desirable)
  • Advanced analytical and numerical skills
