Full Job Description

Our client is a multiple award-winning Trading Platform with offices across the globe, who have developed a reputation second to none within a niche area committed to servicing their customers to the highest possible standard.

They have become a well-respected industry player and currently have a vacancy for a Financial Reporter.

What will my day to day look like?

You will be responsible for continually monitoring market trends, assessing key news takeaways, corporate stories, and daily market information, to effectively translate this into content to distribute to clients across CFD and Investment products.

Within this role, you will act a key content writer across the APAC region, with a key focus on Australia and Singapore.

You will also:_
Write and publish datedriven articles on the company platform for different audiences to drive client engagement.
Actively participate in the story ideation/editorial process.
Organize, adapt and repurpose content from various research reports and translate them through new formatted such as videos or podcasts.
Liaise with various stakeholders such as the Insights team for new content ideas.
Ensure to keep up with trends and market news, considering how they might influence our work.
Quickly respond to market moving events and respond with the timely release of materials to multiple channels.
Support our premium client desk in delivering additional exclusive content for our HNW clients.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders (Sales Trading, Retail Sales, Marketing and Client Services) to help identify areas where they can provide coverage or add expertise.
Produce daily written reports on global market news across all asset classes offered on the company trading platform.
Cover major market events with pre and postanalysis, including interview features and media comments as appropriate
Be available as a point of contact to answer media queries and give interviews at short notice
Help set the agenda for key market events where we should proactively seek external press coverage Public Performance Management and Reporting

What skills do I need for the role?
You are a strong content writer and are passionate about investing and trading. You also have excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. You are a hard worker and have experience working in a busy, fast paced, and dynamic environment.

You also have:

Strong commercial acumen
Knowledge of SEO and best practices
A customer first attitude
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Ability to take ownership and accountability for your work.
Strong stakeholder management skills
Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline desirable (Communications, Journalism, Marketing etc.)
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
