Monash Health is excited to announce a permanent
Genetic Counsellor position within its
General Genetics Department, located at
Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

There is EFT at Grade 2-3 available. We are ideally looking for Grade 3 GCs.
You will provide genetic counselling to a variety of clients for a wide range of genetic conditions.

About The Role

About You:

You have completed a Master of Genetic Counselling Course, with experience working as a GC, ideally in prenatal genetics as well.
You have a good knowledge and understanding of genetic counselling, including medical, genetic and psychosocial aspects.
You have demonstrated clinical placement experience in the provision of genetic counselling. You have excellent written and verbal, English communication skills.
You thrive working in a fast paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team and are a considerate and collaborative team member.
You are a proficient computer user, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
You will also need to have Australian working rights.
