TrustQuay is currently hiring a Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team based in our Sydney office in Pitt Street working on a Hybrid basis.

The role will come with a competitive salary plus excellent benefits including 20 days holiday, bonus, SUPER plus more.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Contribute towards the Professional Services revenue targets by meeting the team's utilisation objectives.
  • Participate in customer meetings/workshops to gather and clearly document technical requirements and lead some such sessions on less complex aspects of the product & project.
  • Develop the process & use the appropriate tools for the migration of data from incumbent to new system.
  • Be responsible for Business Central upgrades from design to go live and provide critical care support for post go live.
  • Keeping accurate records of the development process, changes and results
  • Analysing user requirements for feasibility, for conflicts with existing functionality and cost.
  • Integrating existing software and getting incompatible platforms to work together
  • Continually updating technical knowledge and skills by attending inhouse and external courses, reading manuals and familiarising with existing and new modules
  • Contribute to the playbook of steps required to transition the customer to live use of the NavOne product.
  • Undertake ad'hoc consultancy services to deploy additional interfaces, reports, or functional capabilities within the product.
  • Work with colleagues and the Professional Services management team to continually improve the team's implementation methodologies and engagement with the customer base.
**Travel to customer sites will be required, this could be global travel.

Experience and skills required:

  • SSRS experience
  • SQL experience Expertise in current computer hardware and software and an ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly
  • Ability to use one or more development language (C#, C++, PHP, HTML, etc.)
  • Technical competency in terms of code writing
  • Analytical ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • An awareness of current issues affecting the industry and its technologies.
  • An understanding of the business environment in which we operate (Trust Admin, Co-Sec and Fund Admin) and eagerness to understand and assess market developments.
  • 5 years of relevant experience & skills to match.
