    Hanson Australia is a leader in building and construction materials with an extensiveproduction and logistics network across Australia.

    We use world-class technologies andservice platforms to supply a comprehensive range of high-quality concrete,aggregates and sand. We also produce road base, asphalt and sustainable andrecycled construction materials for civil construction and infrastructureprojects.

    Hanson Australia is part of the HeidelbergMaterials Group, which employs over 51,000 people at almost 3,000 sites in over50 countries. Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest integratedmanufacturers of building materials and solutions with leading positions incement, aggregates, and ready-mixed concrete.

    We now have a role available for a casual Tax Accountant, working 2-3 days per week pending business needs and beingflexible to do additional days during the peak compliance period.

    About the role:

    • Take ownership of direct & indirect taxation reporting and compliance
    • Provide accurate and meaningful reports to internal and external stakeholders
    • Opportunities available for senior and first mover from professional practice
    • Monthly/quarterly GST, BAS and IAS returns, FBT and Income Tax returns for the group and our joint ventures, assist with tax projects plus lots more
    • Background & Experience required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce
    • CPA/CA qualified or partially qualified
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Australian Taxation law, including high level tax technical knowledge
    • Commercial acumen
