Maven Dental New Farm is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team.

Our Practice is family-friendly and in the heart of New Farm, only a very short distance from Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley, Newstead, and Spring Hill.

Our patients experience a peaceful and welcoming dental practice covering general, cosmetic, family and emergency dental treatments.

The role

As our Receptionist / Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, managing appointments, coordinating patient care, and performing administrative duties.

Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient records.
Process patient payments and insurance claims.
Assist with patient care coordination, including scheduling specialist referrals and followup appointments.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
Some Dental Assistant tasks, such as Chairside & Sterilisation.

You
As a highly valued Receptionist / Dental Assistant, you will ideally have:

Previous experience in Dental industry preferred (but not essential);
A desire to deliver exceptional service;
A willingness to learn and contribute to the team;
A friendly and positive attitude;
Excellent leadership skills
Hygiene awareness and standard of infection control;
Strong interpersonal skills; and
High attention to detail.
