Mental Health Clinician (MH Nurse, Social worker, OT, Psychologist.)

Regional Victoria, Australia.
In Patient and Community Full Time roles.

Mental Health Nurse/Psychologist/Occupational Therapist/Social Worker.

Our client, in Regional Victoria, is currently recruiting experienced Mental Health Clinicians for In Patient and Community based roles.

You will be required to undertake mental health assessments, treatment and deliver continuing care / case coordination for people with mental illness in the hospital setting and in the community.

In addition, you will need to provide support, advice and assistance for other community agencies in the Region.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
You will be required to undertake primary consultation services including triage, assessments, and continuing care planning.

In addition, you will need to have experience in providing acute assessments and treatments for clients in psychiatric crisis or risk of self-harm or suicide.


As part of the day-to-day role, you will Perform all case management and case co-ordination tasks in relation to clients, and the implementation of their treatment plans.


KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Approved degree and registration in Nursing, Social work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy, with full AHPRA registration or membership of the AASW.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including the use of various computer programs such as Excel, Word and client management systems.
  • Working knowledge of the relevant Mental Health Act and associated regulatory frameworks Desirable.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, including inter/intra agency joint case work, and provide community based mental health assessments.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • National Police Clearance Certificate.

  • Driver's License: A class.
