Job Description

We are growing and have a new opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our team in Sydney CBD.


The role:


In this newly created role, you will report to the General Manager Sales & Marketing (GM S&M) and will work closely with sales, marketing, trade and international logistics teams, as well as Livestock and processing operations.


Your day to day will be across cattle program profit analysis, reporting and optimization, trade, logistics and shipping analysis and reporting and analysis of industry insights to drive sales & marketing strategies.


Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Analysis of internal and external data and trends
  • Reporting and development of cattle program and profit analysis
  • Analysis and reporting of processing and supply chain metrics
  • Supporting production and supply chain planning and forecasting
  • Reporting and distribution, as well as analysis of customer and channel performance in both domestic and export markets
  • Commercial analysis of Logistics and Shipping operations.

Your skills and experience required:


  • Red meat or perishable production planning and/or analytics background
  • The ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure along with the ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Attention to detail and great time management skills
  • Strong experience and skillset with Excel modelling & Power BI platforms
  • You are solutions focused and results driven
  • A high level of communication and interpersonal expertise, resulting in concise and tothepoint reporting
  • You have a cando attitude.
