The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers' everyday banking needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates.

We have accountability for Commercial Deposits, Merchants as well as managing the end-to
- end business customer experience. The team is also responsible for the delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers.


You will work in the squad responsible for the product and portfolio management of the Bank's Complex business transaction accounts, this includes: Business Transaction Account (BTA); Society Cheque Account (SCA); Foreign Currency Account (FCA); Business Online Saver (BOS); Farm Management Deposits (FMD); Stream Working Capital Transaction Account (SWCTA) and cash channels.


Do Work That Matters


As a Product Manager (PM) you will be accountable for the management of one or more products, as well as working with the broader team to enable outcome and success of the Complex Commercial Deposits product portfolio.


The PM is responsible for sourcing information from various sources to enable monitoring of product performance and assessing that performance against key regulatory and performance objectives.

Engaging with all stakeholders, creating formal plans and documenting processes to ensure sound change management. The PM is also responsible for acting as an SME on changes rolled out by business partners.


_More specifically you will be; _

  • Work with the Product Owner to develop the product strategy and work with frontline, technology, risk and operations stakeholders to bring the strategy to life.
  • Analyse the financial and nonfinancial performance of the portfolio to derive insights about the products, their customers and opportunities for future enhancements.
  • Manage the design and distribution of products within the target market and in the context of the competitive landscape.
  • Responsible for the implementation of product changes and enhancements that add value and optimise their efficient delivery.
  • Responsible for proactively managing risks associated with the safe delivery of the product. This includes identifying and resolving complaints, issues, incidents and embed operational processes and controls that improve the endtoend control environment.
  • Planning and leading the promotional efforts for new or enhanced products, including both internal and external marketing, advertising, communication and training, and relationship building activities.
  • Manage change to continuously improve the product offering and processes to facilitate the overall customer experience.

Risk Mindset

3+ years in product management, banking, professional services consulting / accounting or performance analysis

  • Experience with agile project management skill set
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work flexibly through change
  • Ability to lead multiple initiatives and manage tight timeframes
  • Prior product development and client facing experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is favourable
  • Applicable and relevant University qualification
