1300SMILES Carindale is currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to become an essential part of our team on a casual basis.

The Opportunity
As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising dental instruments.
Providing chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists, including instrument handling, Xray assistance, and ensuring patient comfort.
Managing patient records and updating electronic medical files.
Welcoming and registering patients, scheduling appointments, and handling phone inquiries.
Coordinating patient flow in the reception area.
Assisting with billing and processing insurance claims.
Delivering exceptional customer service and addressing patient questions and concerns.

Ideally, you will possess:

Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking capabilities.
Proficiency in computer systems and dental software.
A commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and privacy.
